  39.       This could also be a _reset_ line problem to the hard drive.
  40. Depending on what kind of hard drive it is, some of them (usually
  41. Conner drives) require you to cut line #1 on the IDE cable.  This
  42. cuts off the reset signal from the computer to the drive so it
  43. won't spin down during a warm boot.
